More Than a Game
FORE! Golf Ministry was born from a simple conviction: that the golf course is one of the most powerful mission fields in the world — and that God wants to meet people right there on the fairway.

How It Started
A Ministry Born on the Fairway
FORE! Golf Ministry began in Southwest Florida with a group of believers who loved two things deeply: the game of golf and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What started as casual fellowship rounds at Riverwood, Heron Creek and The Back Nine in Port Charlotte quickly grew into something bigger — a calling to use the game as a bridge to reach people who might never walk through a church door.
Golf has a unique way of breaking down walls. Two to four hours on the course creates space for real conversation, honest reflection, and genuine relationship. We saw that, and we asked: what if we were intentional about it? What if every round could be an opportunity to share hope, speak truth, and point people toward eternity? How could we turn every fairway into a mission field?
That question became FORE! Golf Ministry — a faith-based outreach rooted in the belief that God can use anything, even a bogey on the 18th hole, to draw someone closer to Him.
The Name Behind the Mission
What Does FORE! Mean?
In golf, "FORE!" is a warning — a heads-up that something important is coming. For us, it's a declaration. Each letter stands for a pillar of everything we do.
Faith
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
Hebrews 11:1
Everything we do is grounded in faith — faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, faith that God can transform lives, and faith that the golf course is a place where the Holy Spirit moves. We don't just play golf together; we walk in faith together.
Outreach
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

The Great Commission doesn't stop at the church parking lot. We take it to the tee box, the fairway, and the 19th hole. Every event is an outreach opportunity — a chance to share the love of Christ with golfers who may be searching for something more.

Golf is a relational game. You can't play 18 holes with someone and not get to know them. We lean into that. Our ministry is built on authentic, Christ-centered relationships — between players, between generations, and between people and their Creator.
Eternity!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16
Every round ends. Every tournament concludes. But eternity is forever. We keep our eyes fixed on what matters most — not the scorecard, but the soul. The exclamation mark in our name is there because eternity is worth getting excited about.

You don't need to be a scratch golfer — or even a Christian — to join us. We welcome everyone, wherever they are in their journey. Most golfers come for the fellowship.

From teens picking up a club for the first time to seasoned players, we believe every generation has something to give and something to receive.

We are proudly rooted in Southwest Florida — our office is located inside The Back Nine in Port Charlotte and the surrounding communities are our home course and our mission field.

Coaches Ministry through FORE!
At FORE! Golf Ministry, we believe that to reach the player, you must first reach the coach. A coach's influence on a student-athlete is profound, extending far beyond scores and swing mechanics into character, values, and eternal direction.
Yet, coaches are often under tremendous pressure, facing high expectations with very few spaces designed to pour back into their own souls. Our Coaches Ministry exists to serve, equip, and encourage coaches — providing a community "Where Faith Meets Fairway."
